Kite. Work. Explore Brazil.
This is not a big commercial kite camp.
It’s a small, personal trip for people who want to spend a few weeks in Brazil kitesurfing, working remotely, exploring beautiful places and sharing the experience with a like-minded group.
We’ll move through some of Brazil’s most loved kite spots, organise downwinders, work when we need to, kite when the conditions are best, and enjoy the kind of community that makes kite travel unforgettable.
Expect warm wind, flat-water lagoons, downwind adventures, shared meals, beautiful sunsets and a group of people who are there for the same reason: to progress, connect and enjoy the ride.
Ilha do Guajiru
31 October – 7 November
We start in Ilha do Guajiru, one of Brazil’s most well-known flat-water lagoon spots. It’s the perfect place to settle into the rhythm of the trip, meet the group, work remotely and get plenty of time on the water.
This first week is about building confidence, getting used to the conditions and starting the adventure together.

Macapa
8 – 21 November
Macapá is one of the most special kite spots in Brazil: wild, beautiful, tidal and perfect for progression.
We’ll spend two weeks here, giving everyone time to settle, work, kite, improve and enjoy a slower rhythm. Expect flat-water sections, ocean options, stunning scenery and a proper kite-community feeling.
There will be a upwind and downwind trip to Barra Grande and optional trips to see the Lencois.
We finish in Barrinha, with more kiting, community time and another planned downwind adventure.
This final week is about enjoying Brazil, celebrating progression and making the most of the last sessions together.
We will include a downwind adventure to Tatajuba during the weekend.
Barrinha
21 – 28 November

Downwind adventures
One of the goals of this trip is to help you build confidence with downwinders.
We’ll plan several downwind-style experiences throughout the trip, starting with smaller, more manageable routes and building up depending on the group level, wind and tide.
Downwind adventures include:
Ilha do Guajiru to Barrinha
Macapá to Barra Grande and back
Barrinha to Tatajuba
Additional local downwind routes depending on conditions
Downwinders are always dependent on level, safety and conditions. You don’t need to be a pro, but you do need to be comfortable riding and following guidance.
We’re Sara and Valerie, and we met the way many of the best kite friendships begin — on a kite trip.
Since then, we’ve shared sessions, travelled, met amazing people and experienced the kind of community that makes kitesurfing so much more than a sport. Whether in Portugal or Brazil, the kite scene has given us adventure, connection, progression and a lot of fun.
Now we want to take that feeling back to Brazil.
Sara has been hosting digital nomads at Belavista in the Algarve since 2020 and recently created a two-month kitesurf coliving experience in Portugal. Brazil has also been a special place for her for years — she speaks Portuguese, has travelled there many times, and has been twice specifically to kite.
This trip brings together everything we love: remote work, kitesurfing, warm wind, beautiful places, shared meals, downwinders and the kind of people who say yes to adventure.
A small group.
A proper kite community.
And four weeks exploring Brazil together.

The programme
31 October – 7 November
Ilha do Guajiru
We start our adventure in Ilha do Guajiru, with time to settle in, meet the group and enjoy the huge flat-water lagoon.
Our first days will be a mix of coworking, kiting and relaxed time together — giving everyone a chance to get comfortable on the water before our first downwind adventure.
7 November
🪁 Downwind: Ilha do Guajiru → Barrinha
Our first big kite adventure!
We’ll do an organised downwind from Ilha do Guajiru to Barrinha, travelling along the coast by kite.
Local support will be available, and riders who would like extra guidance can arrange a lesson or additional support for the downwind.
8–21 November
Macapá
Next we head to Macapá, where we’ll spend almost two weeks.
This is where we really settle into the cowork + kite rhythm: working when we need to, choosing our kite sessions around the best tides and wind, and enjoying plenty of time together outside work.
Macapá is one of our favourite places in Brazil, and staying here for longer means there’s no pressure to rush. There’s time to kite, progress, explore and enjoy the village.
14 November
🪁 Upwind to Barra Grande & Macapá Downwind Day
Halfway through our stay in Macapá, we’ll have another special kite adventure.
We’ll travel upwind to Barra Grande, launch from there and kite downwind along the coast all the way back to Macapá.
It’s a chance to explore a different stretch of coastline, experience a longer adventure on the water and finish right back at our home base.
21–28 November
Final Week in Barrinha
Our final week is about making the most of Brazil: more kite sessions, exploring, group dinners, spontaneous adventures and plenty of time on the water.
By this point, everyone will know the spots, the group and the rhythm of the trip — so we can enjoy the last few days without rushing.
22 November
🪁 Downwind: Barrinha → Tatajuba
For our final big downwind adventure, we’ll kite from Barrinha to Tatajuba, exploring another beautiful stretch of the Brazilian coastline from the water.
After three weeks of riding together, it’s the perfect adventure to kick off our final week.
28 November
Departure
Our official adventure finishes on 28 November.
